Extra determination, targeting of efforts and sheer hard work helped companies overcome their main obstacle. For others intensive testing and experimentation, modification of the product, and communicating with experts, potential customers and other interested parties proved to be the key. One in nine put up more of their own money to ensure the venture was taken forward.
