Luke has overall responsibility for media strategy and media relations at the Design Council, including all contact with national press and broadcast media. He manages the media team and liaises with all other Design Council teams to ensure that news of the organisation's work reaches wider audiences.

Nell has primary responsibility for the trade press, particularly in connection with Millennium Products. She is also responsible for the Millennium Products picture library and assists the Design Council team generally in implementinging its media strategy.

Jan generates and edits written material for the whole Design Council team, contributing copy to key publications such as the Annual Review, Design in Britain and our regular magazine ‘i’, together with publications in support of events. Jan also writes articles for the media.

Helen works across the Design Council team to help implement media strategy and also monitors closely what coverage the Design Council is achieving. She is also responsible for maintaining a picture library and maintains contacts with journalists in all forms of media.
