Millennium Products are the most innovative British products and services.

In 1997, UK Prime Minister, Tony Blair, called on British business to submit to the Design Council their most creative and innovative products and services for consideration as Millennium Products in time for the start of the new millennium. He said that Britain, already responsible for 70% of the world's most significant inventions, aims to become the world's creative powerhouse. There have been many thousands of entries.

A panel made up of experts from industry, science, engineering, the arts and culture has been assessing the products with the most innovative becoming Millennium Products. Millennium Products look forward into the new millennium and help improve the way we live both now and in the future.

Many of the products were on display during 2000 for everyone to see at Britain's Millennium Dome in Greenwich, London.
